Brewood

Our third visit to 'The Jub' for the Brewood Bowling Club. We should have been back earlier, but the Covid Lockdown meant that our return was delayed,

Steve was soon leading this great audience with some popular 60s tunes and they were with us from the first chorus!

It was great for me to back again on the stage where I made my first public appearance - as the interval band at the Annual Scout Dance - way back in November 1965. Many happy memories.

After our traditional three opening numbers, Doug joined us on stage, plating guitar on 'You are my sunshine'.

Everyone joined in from the very first line of this wonderful old song.

Following the interval, we picked up the pace once again from where we had left off in the first half.

As the evening drew to a close, everyone joined in with a variety of titles as we hit our customary 'crescendo', ending with Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline'.
